Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) 2025 is Here!
The Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) is back, taking place from February 5–9, 2025, in Jakarta.
Spanning 24,941 square meters, Southeast Asia’s largest and most comprehensive handicraft exhibition marks its 25th anniversary with the theme “From Smart Village to Global Market.” This year, “Sustainability and Collaboration” take center stage, making INACRAFT not just a marketplace but also a platform for education and networking.
Yogyakarta as the Event’s Featured Icon
This year, INACRAFT collaborates with the Yogyakarta Special Region Government, highlighting the province’s rich artistic heritage. Visitors can explore Yogyakarta’s finest handicrafts and enjoy traditional dance, karawitan music performances, trunk shows, and other cultural showcases at the Icon Stage in the Main Lobby.
Interactive and International Features
To celebrate this milestone, the Mbatik 25 Meter activity invites visitors to take part in naturally dyeing a batik cloth, symbolizing INACRAFT’s journey over the years. The fair also strengthens its global presence with the participation of World Craft Council (WCC) and ASEAN Handicraft Promotion & Development Association (AHPADA) in the International Pavilion, further showcasing Indonesia’s craftsmanship on an international scale.
A Well-Organized Exhibition Layout
For a seamless shopping experience, INACRAFT 2025 is divided into 10 zones, each dedicated to a specific category. From household and housewares in the Main Lobby to fashion and embroidery in Hall B, visitors can easily explore a diverse range of high-quality handicrafts. The Talam (Nusantara Culinary) Zone in the Mezzanine and Hall B also offers a variety of traditional Indonesian food and beverages.
Craft Talks, Business Networking, and the INACRAFT Award
As part of the Insight Program, INACRAFT presents Craft Talks, hands-on workshops led by industry experts, the INACRAFT Forum, and cultural performances. Fashion shows, business matchmaking sessions, and the prestigious INACRAFT Award are also highlights, recognizing artisans for their innovation and craftsmanship.
