A Night of Music and Lights: Candlelight Concerts at Soehanna Hall

The world-renowned Candlelight concert series is bringing a new musical experience to Jakarta’s cultural scene this year. Known for presenting live music in intimate settings with thousands of candles, the series by Fever is using the modern acoustics of Soehanna Hall to host these performances. By featuring world-class musicians in a unique setting, the event aims to make both classical and contemporary music more accessible to Indonesian audiences.

Jakarta Welcomes the Candlelight Series at Soehanna Hall

Starting in February 2026, the Candlelight series has officially added Soehanna Hall in the Energy Building, SCBD, as a primary venue in Jakarta. This hall offers an intimate atmosphere where the music and the setting work together for a relaxed experience. The 2026 season features a wide lineup, including “A Tribute to The Beatles” and “The Best of Hans Zimmer” on February 12, followed by “Vivaldi’s Four Seasons” and a “Valentine’s Day Special” on February 13.

Strong Demand from Indonesian Audiences

The response from the public has been high, with many of the early February shows reaching “Sold Out” status shortly after tickets were released on the Fever platform. This interest reflects a strong local demand for high-quality live music performances. Due to this popularity, additional dates have been scheduled for March and April 2026, featuring themes like “Queen vs. ABBA” and “Ed Sheeran Meets Coldplay.”

A Journey Through Diverse Musical Genres

Each 60-minute performance is designed to cover different musical styles. Audiences can hear the work of classical composers or modern film scores by Hans Zimmer, all performed by local ensembles such as the Svbito String Quartet and the J Modern Quartet. The program is built to be inclusive, offering professional, unplugged performances for fans of classical music, pop hits, and movie soundtracks alike.

Looking Ahead for Jakarta’s Music Scene

The arrival of Candlelight at Soehanna Hall is a major step for Jakarta’s live entertainment, joining other global cities that host this concert phenomenon. As the year continues, Fever is expected to introduce more themes and possibly expand to other venues. For those attending, it is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes early, as seating within each zone is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets for the series can be purchased directly through the official Fever website. Due to the high demand and limited seating at the venue, guests are encouraged to book their spots in advance.
